Zola is an innovative wedding registry that's transforming how couples and guests share, buy, and ship wedding gifts. Zola Inspiration will become a place where couples can browse and be inspired by photos of real weddings, save their favorites, and connect to the vendors that brought those weddings to life. Couples can filter their photo results to only show real weddings that happened in the destination they plan on getting married in, too.

Zola is looking for upbeat, organized, and supportive individuals to join our team as a Vendor Success Manager. Vendor Success is a mix between B2B sales and Vendor support, helping Zola appeal to and solve the needs of wedding vendors across the country.   This role will be based in Charlottesville, Virginia, in our Downtown Mall office. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, voicemails and follow up contacts as a part of our larger Vendor Success team
  • Cold call and send emails to potential new Vendors
  • Work to help execute the launching of new cities and markets
  • Continuously brainstorm ways to improve our vendor’s experience
  • Work on projects that support company wide goals and initiatives
  • Be a champion of wedding vendors nationwide and help them grow their businesses through Zola!
  • Use data to understand what is working for vendors and help them manage their success on Zola
  • Build lasting relationships with vendors and gather feedback on the vendor experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to remain cool, calm, collected and organized, even in times of high volume
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months experience in e-commerce, customer service, retail, hospitality or a related industry. Ability to empathize with our small business owners is a must
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Must have strong, friendly, and upbeat verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient with computers and able to learn new programs quickly; Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce as well as Zendesk are a plus
  • Experience or knowledge of the wedding planning industry a plus
  • Ability to represent Zola and be the voice of the company while handling vendors in a professional manner
